i keep trying to return to lj, but lj persists in making this difficult. am i the only one who keeps being foiled by pages refusing to load halfway through? or am i just losing it? WHAT ARE YOU DOING, LIVEJOURNAL D:

LJ went down big time this week -- overall, two or three days' worth of downtime. Problems have continued all week. It's not just you.

It's yet another DDoS attack. LJ has mostly recovered, but there are still some lingering problems. Blame the Russians. ;-)

What they said. I get this bar at the top:

LiveJournal is currently up, but experiencing some temporary issues. You may encounter occasional site slowness, pages failing to load or returning error 503, and error 500 when attempting to post long entries and pictures. We are working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
